hey guys, i need a little help!

my medical school has a 1 week required dentistry rotation, with a rather comprehensive oral exam to pass. i really don't want to buy a text for the class (it is only 1 week long!), and the library is a pain to study at, so i am looking for an online textbook. if you guys know of a website or an on-line text, or have any other suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance!

Neil best of luck on your test.

If it's a hospital dental rotation I'd bet you'd need to focus on the oral medicine aspects of dentistry. (Not much chance of them asking you to list the pros and cons of the five common endodontic irrigants or to discuss space regaining in the skeletal class II crowded malocclusion in an 8 year old)

Here's a few links. If you let us know more what the test will be on we might be able to suggest something more appropriate.

If in doubt I'd pick the answer that says 32 or Pen VK 500 qid *7 and refer to DDS. :D

sweet...thanks for the links and reply. i actually went and weasled a copy of the oxford clinic handbook for dentistry, i am hoping it will be plenty.

i swear, i think the correct answer for every question will be refer to dds. the unfortunate part is that it is an oral exam, which limits me on the BS opportunities.

what the hell do i know about orthodontics, angle class III cross bite whatever? i swear, the school is trying anything to fail me out.... thank god that you guys learn all of this. no wonder you will make so much damn money!

thanks again!
