Only shadowed one Dentist

Like the title said, I have primarily shadowed my Dentist off and on for the past two years and have around 200 hours total. Even though I meet the requirements for hours at most schools, they often want you to have shadowed multiple Dentists. I have "shadowed" other dentists at free dental clinics but at these events I was mostly volunteering and only for a few hours. Has anybody heard from advisers or otherwise about how this is viewed by admissions committees? Thanks.

Yeah a few of the admissions officers did address this during a pre-dental day; they told me they wanted to see multiple dentists because that lets you see a variety of ways that dentistry is practiced.

For that reason, I did some shadowing at a community health center, some at a private practice, some at a corporate, etc.

However, you've got a great amount of hours over a long period of time which is excellent.
So, if I were you, I'd list the free dental clinics in the shadowing section since you did still shadow them.

Other than that, don't worry about it. If you have the time & inclination, shadow another dentist. Otherwise, you're fine.
