I will graduate from UNC-Greensboro this coming December with a BS in Biology and a minor in chemistry. Currently, my cum GPA is a 3.17. I am taking human anatomy and statistics this summer, then this coming fall I only plan on taking 11 hours. The classes will be microbiology w/lab (4 hrs), biochemistry (3 hrs), ecology lab (1 hr), and microeconomics (3 hrs). Does it look bad that I am only taking 11 hours my last semester? (overall it will have taken me 9 semesters + summer classes to graduate with 148 credit hours)

Nah I wouldn't be concerned about it, I mean if that's all you have left to finish then that's fine. No point in taking extra courses if its not required I guess.

Well it should't be a concern as long as I get A's. And I will be taking the pcat in october so I need time to study for that 🙁 ...I've always performed poorly at standardized tests.

And for the sake of not starting a new thread. Do I have a chance at getting into pharmacy school?

Cum GPA is 3.17, and I anticipate to raise that to a ~3.3 by the time I graduate in December.

EC's: Treasurer of Fraternity Year 2013, and VP of Scholarship for IFC Year 2013. And I work as a Fitness Attendant at the YMCA and have been working there part time throughout college.

I shadowed a hand surgeon for a summer to get a different perspective on health care and because originally I thought I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon but have now decided to go into pharmacy, either psychiatric pharmacy or information services.

I am also an Eagle Scout.

My father is also a Pharmacist at WFUBMC (Wake Forest Baptist Hospital), and he went to Pitt.

It's fine. Don't worry. Get 80> on pcat, you can go pretty much anywhere with that.
