Hey guys, I am currently a second-semester sophomore at University of Nevada Reno and I'm an electrical engineering major, but I'm also pre-med. My dilemma is that I only have two extra curriculars that I'm involved in and I don't feel like it's enough. I've maintained a 3.87 gpa in engineering, but I was wondering, how many more (and what type) of extra curriculars should I take to raise my chances of getting into medical school? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What EC's do you currently have? If your two EC's that you're involved in right now are volunteering and research, then those are alright. If you're not in research right now, try to look into that to see if it's for you. Obviously volunteering is a must, and you should do some shadowing as well. Besides those, do stuff you like, be it sports, culture/ethnic clubs, political groups, whatever you have passion for.
