So I realized I submitted $50 instead of $35 to Pittsburgh... Before I contact them, I thought I would ask you guys. Should I let them know/get my $ back?

As a (nervous) applicant, I feel like they would judge me for not following directions correctly... Mad paranoia... :lame: I know.................

i am sure they are not going to reject you b/c you paid more money.

Just let them know that you gave them $15 tip for a favorable consideration : )

They probably can not process your app because the amount is not matching (they can not deposit your check and it does not matter if the check is over or under). They may ask you to send another check so they can shred this one. Call them and ask what to do.

I did not apply to pitt, but from my experience/what I've seen happen when some schools accidentally publish incorrect fee amounts, they will probably just void your check when they get it and expect you to send a new check for the correct amount.

Regardless, you should definitely call. Schools seem to be very understanding about any/all questions/issues so there isn't any need to stress any more about this issue than you/we already are about the application process.

Just call and tell them when they get a check for $20 to give the left overs from yours to mine so it looks like you were helping a friend in need.. How about that for ECs
