Submitted application on September 14th. But I failed to assign my Transcript and photo to programs until today. Does this mean my app is now a "September 18th submission" for these programs? Sorry for my neurotic post in advance.

From my understanding, your application will still be time-stamped 09:00 on 9/15/2018 but depending on how the program reviews their applications, you may have been moved into an incomplete pile. Since it's only the 18th, it's also reasonable to assume they may not have got to your application yet (especially if you are an IMG).

Not an IMG. For what it’s worth, I received the message from Icahn yesterday morning about receiving my app.

There's your answer then.

Even if the answer was yes, what would you do differently at this point anyways? Realistically, anything in the first few days is almost certainly all the same.

Just being neurotic. Still haven’t received an invite. Y’know.. three days after it went live. I’m not crazy or anything

I'm asking everyone to consider that ERAS went live over the weekend, so some programs didn't start the review process until Monday. Please be patient. I don't have as many applications to review as some programs, but I can't assess hundreds of applications in a single day (or even two), and my Selection Committee won't start inviting applicants (other than our own students) until I've completed an initial assessment so we can see the strength of the applicant pool. There may be some programs that are already sending invitations, but it's way too soon for the majority.

Also--it's too early for emails to the programs. The time it takes for me to read and respond to those is time taken away from actually assessing applications.

Thanks mcl! Seeing invites going out already at some schools just has me worried I’m being overlooked haha

Follow-up on this: I just assigned my transcript and photo after getting pinged by a kindly PD for the missing info. I'm an otherwise very competitive applicant from a top 5 school. Should I email the various PDs at this point to let them know the transcript was just assigned and that I am indeed interested in their programs?

My main application was submitted on 9/18 and I have received only 1 invite so far, though lots of "we're waiting for the Oct 1 Dean's Letter to review applications."

No. Now that it's there, PD's should see it.

If you'll sleep better, you could send the email. But it probably won't make any difference.
