Hi all. Anybody hear have any advice for a first year fm resident looking to switch to path. Ive only shadowed a path once for a day but i am very interested in the field. I only have one week of vacatio. Left so should i use it to shadow to try to get into a program next year or would that not be enough time. I am a DO with high comlex no usmle. Thank you for the help.

Talk to ur PD, Maybe he/she can arrange something for ur elective time. Path is easy for DO/MD.

Unfortunately they dont give us any elective first year lol. Might end up having to take a gap year over this, kind of ridiculous tbh
