I'm in my second year of residency. Realized at the tail end of first year that I wasn't happy in it. Decided that second year might be better, for many reasons, decided to wait the extra month for it to start. Now its started, and I still feel I could be happier in peds. What are the chances of finding an open PGY1 spot now in a decent residency? I'd venture slim to none but wanted to hear it out of someone elses mouth too :\
