My best friend is an m4 who matched into a different field and now found out she has a physical disability that will limit her in that field. She is devastated because of the timing of the whole thing. She was planning on going into rads before. She has a TY and will still go on with that. What are the chances of finding a pgy-2 rads spot @ some point in the next year? Will she have to re-enter the match? What is the best way to find a spot if there is one?

Unfortunately there arent many PGY-2 spots that open up. For the most part they are unexpected. That being said some programs are approved for more residents than they have and can sometimes make exceptions to bring people in. Im not sure how all of this works. She should probably try to get in touch with the chair of the department at her institution to get more info.
