Hey all, I was wondering where can I find out which programs had open spots from last year's match? I found someone refer to there being several spots in the New York City area, but the person never said which ones. I am looking for a website of some sort.

Also, for programs that had open spots, did they fill their interview spots? I think I understand the Match Process, but I was wondering if someone from one of those programs can definitively tell me that "yes, we had open interview spots" and "no we didn't fill all our spots."

Thanks!

I heard a rumor that the In-and-Out program didn't fill any spots last year, not even in the scramble. I'd check with Dr. Pants to make sure.

Speaking of the In-and-Out program... I have only heard of that phrase from my time on SDN (born/raised Texan) but have to admit I busted out laughing on halloween when I was walking down the hall and see a young lady dressed up in what I assume is the 'uniform' that the people at this program wear.

Funny thing was, she just smiled and probably figured I had some ties to the west coast...

You guys might want to give this In-and-Out thing a rest....😳

Thanks, trisomy. I would like a real response if everyone doesn't mind. I am sure it is a little early for people to be thinking of scrambling, but if you have read my past posts, it is very relevant to my situation.

Yeah, and new posters might want to give the "search" function a try 🙄

This seems to come up every other week.

While appreciate the link, I posted this question because it was two-fold. I also had trouble finding the link that was given by Dr. Mom. Perhaps, I did not try hard enough, but I would appreciate a little more comraderie.

Next time, please keep your snide remarks to yourself.😡

I don't know if ANYONE reveals if all their interview spots were filled, and I (and, although I can't speak for them, am confident that most of the other posters would agree) just am not motivated to search for and read your past posts. (And note that we would search for them.)

And "snide" hasn't even started yet, but be ready in case the floodgates open.

Yeah I didn't think anyone had ventured near "snide" yet. "Snarky" and "beating an old dead horse of a joke" seem more appropriate, but not snide. Yet. +pity+
