Clinical – include hours/sites:
1) Past 1.5 years of volunteering at a hospital, very basic patient interaction, getting them water, pillows, talking to them and making them feel comfortable: 125 hours
2) Was at a children's hospital for about 5 months before I quit. Similar thing with patient interactions and just playing with the kids and talking with them: 40 hours

Research – include any abstracts/posters/publications and how you were credited (eg. First author, senior author, etc)
: Been doing research in a molecular biology lab for the past 1.5 years. No publications

Physician shadowing – include hours/specialties: About 125 hours of shadowing. Split between orthopedics, cardiovascular, oncology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and thoracic

Non-clinical volunteering:
1)For the past year or so been volunteering at a local public library to help local K-12 students with homework. About 3 hours per week: 100 hours
2) Been volunteering with the Red Cross for the past year, helping with home fire aftermath and helping with home fire prevention: 250 hours

Extracurricular activities:
1) Part of a fraternity (have a leadership role for our philanthropy) and helping set up blood drives with the Red Cross for the past year and a half. Also on the Standards committee, which overseas the general conduct of the members of the chapter: 50 hours total
2) Member of a mentoring organization that pairs each college student with a local high school student. Been doing this for the past year and a half: 50 hours

Other:
1) Worked at a hotel for the first two years of college ~15 hours a week
2) Worked for a local kids baseball league as an umpire for 2 summers.
3) Currently working at a public library in circulation ~14 hours a week
