Is the lac operon stuff on DAT?
I'm reading Schaums and don't know if I should skip that chapter...

Anyone else reading Schaums? If so, could ya share which chapters to leave out?

I'm using schaums to supplement kaplans bio. I'm mainly focussing on plant and animal classifications, photosynthesis and evolution. hope this helps

when I did my bio notes, i took them from kaplan and went through every schaums ch and wrote in whatever was missing from kaplan. now i dont even look at kaplan bio, just those notes i made and EK(for when im reading bio).

Not sure if your DAT test will have a lac operon question but you should definitely know it...

I don't think you need to know the details of how the lac operon works. Just know what an operon is in general and the parts associated with it.
