Many of the societies have forums or email groups.

Theres the Young Ophthalmologists subforum on this board, but doesnt seem to get much traffic

There’s a real time chat group on Telegram for retina specialists but only if you’re within 10 years after finishing fellowship. I don’t know about the other subspecialties.
