Hi! I am a M1 at a MD school without an Ophthalmology home program. Does anyone have any projects I can get involved in or have any suggestions for getting involved in more research?

Hi! I'm interested in glaucoma research but would be open to any kind of exposure! It has been a little bit more difficult without a home program, but I'd really love to continue exploring ophtho through research.

Can't speak to ophtho specifically but I'd say the first thing to start is try to find what research is available at your home program. I'm interested in IR and PD consensus is that while IR research > any research, Any research >>>> no research.

Beyond that: Does your school rotate at any hospitals with ophtho programs? Would focus there first.
