Ophthalmology - slight dip from Step 1 to Step 2, include on SF Match or no?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
If you already have your score, then I don't think you have a choice. When you release your USMLE transcript, it has all scores on it.

If when you apply you only have S1 and then your S2 score comes back, you have the choice to release or not.

I wouldn't hesitate to release a 265. You're seriously overthinking this.

If you scored a 214 on S2, then you've got a real conundrum. That score will raise some eyebrows. But some programs won't rank you without a S2 score -- so you've got problems either way.

Say one went from a Step 1 of 268 to a Step 2 of 265, should they include Step 2 in their initial SF Match submission or no? Just wondering if anyone had any insight on this given Step 1 going P/F and programs no longer being able to filter applicants by Step 1 score on the SF Match. They can still filter by Step 2 score as far as I know. Kind of a specific question but I feel like the Step 1 is a bit more impressive (higher %ile) and might be a better "stand alone" score.
they are both strong scores!
