Hey SDN Family,
Just started M3 and I've started to seriously think about residency/specialty interests and was wondering if I had any shot of matching into an ophthalmology residency with a Step 1 score of 227. I go to a US allopathic medical school, few honors in the basic sciences my first 2 years so far.

Would appreciate any feedback/advice!

Well zero if you spell it ophto... Ophthalmology vs. Ophtho for short.

I kid but I do know someone who annoyed an attending by using the wrong spelling.
