So.. I started studying seriously in May... but that didn't last long, I never got back to studying... I kept postponing the DAT... I finally decided to not postpone past August 10, and just take it... I did two achiever and two top score exam the week, and did terribly (14s and 15s on all except 20s on QR and reading) and decided to give up on studying and just not worry about it and see what happens... Well this is what happened:

AA: 19
TS: 19
PAT- 17
Quantit- 17
Reading - 20
Organic - 20
GChem-21
Biology- 18

So basically... I thought the practice exams were in no way indicative of how I would perform since my lowest was always GChem, and my highest was the QR.
Is it worth trying to improve my scores... or do you think I can get in with an overall 3.6 and science/bcp 3.5... if you think I should retake it, what do you feel would be more appropriate practice?

any input would be greatly appreciated!

so wait ur saying u stopped studying and just blew it off and took it? cause your scores are pretty decent for getting low scores in topscore/achiever. I personally say your in a good position especially with your GPA.

Was the test ALOT easier than the achiever/topscore? Cause your real scores are alot better than the practice exams. Good job. 🙂

I'm impressed. I think you have a good shot somewhere!

hmm... maybe that's the approach I should've taken....

Yes.. I thought that the sciences in particular were a lot easier... especially the chemistries, since those have always been my weak subjects... And I didn't think the biology was that difficult, only it asked questions on topics I have never even looked at before... QR wasn't terrible, only time consuming, and I didn't finish (didn't budget time well)

WOW i don't know how you studied in Miami, its such a party place. If i lived there i would have been going to Mansion or Prive instead of studying. But very nice scores considering that you were getting 14s 15s on practice tests. But you should get in somewhere, don't worry!!! Enjoy the rest of your summer.
