I seem to recall (but may be imagining things) reading a nice review about the different rates of opioid tolerance between the different drugs, but I can't find anything now.
Anyone have any references to which opioids cause tolerance the quickest? (Besides remifentanil...duh)
I seem to remember that fentanyl is the quickest, methadone the slowest, morphine somewhere in the middle - but can't find any data.
There are lots of studies on OIH - most of those are on morphine.
