optional secondary questions?

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone has asked this yet, but I'm having a lot of trouble filling out my secondaries right now -- I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't submitted yet.

I was wondering if the optional questions (like question 7 on the UCSF secondary) are really optional. They have so many questions I feel like I've run out of things to say.

Any suggestions?

Dont worry, I have not submitted my secondaries either...., I mean im working on them but some take a long time

personally, i am of the philosophy that its good to answer every question, even the optional ones, as best as you can. but if you legit have absolutely nothing to say, i dont think it will hurt you. it just won't help you, either.
