So I was recently accepted to the pharmacy school of my dreams after getting my BS and plan to attend their next school year. At first I wasn't sure if they would accept me because I took a lower level course than what they were looking for in one of my classes (a higher level class wasn't offered at my school). I applied anyways and hoped that the rest of my application and profile would still get me in and it did. I spent the next couple of weeks informing the other pharmacy schools I was accepted to that I would be attending school elsewhere.

Now several weeks after submitting my deposit and looking at apartments in the area, I get an email from an admissions rep telling me that the class I took is unacceptable and I need to take it again (I took the 100 level my school offered; they want at least a level 200). I am currently worried because there isn't a 200 level course in the area and it is too late to sign up for the course (even if it was offered) before my pharmacy school starts.

I was wondering what my options are. Could the school rescind the offer and make me go through the entire application process again? I'm currently thinking about telling my anatomy professor to email this admissions rep to tell her that the course I took was adequate. It is a very frustrating situation. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is there an online version of this class that they would accept?

No I don't think there is an online version that they would accept. And on their website they never specified which level of the course I had to take. I assumed that they accepted my courses when I received my acceptance letter. I just wish they would have notified me about this before I denied the other schools. Thanks for the help.

Reach out to the school that accepted you and exam. Your situation. I'm in the same boat and they found an online course for me at UC Berkley to enroll in.
