Hey guys,

I just got into ICO and accepted a seat. Do I need a computer of any sort for optometry school? I've never taken notes in my whole life and whenever theres class materials, I always used the school library/computer labs. In fact I never owned my own paper, books, pens, computer, or calculator duruing undergrad, always could borrow from the library.

Does ICO have enough computers in the computer lab for people to study on or should I bring a computer of some sort? Are there alot of projects requiring computer use?

thanks!

This sounds incredible. After 4+ years of undergrad you have never taken notes, and don't own a computer... or even a 10 cent bic pen?

You must be some sort of genius.

Most of the time there are enough available computers, however during breaks between first and second year lecture, and during exam weeks it could be busy.

Try to buy a calculator and some pencils at least, you're going to have 2-3 exams/wk and the library only has so many calculators for you to borrow.

cool, thanks for the info. I think i'll bring one anyways just in case.
