2 questions:

1. How should I handle a case where I never actually met the employer? I got the job through a job agency.

What's worse is that the actual business i went to work is now moved to a different location so a lot of the old people left. But i feel like even if I give the new location, no one there would know me. But I don't want to just discard it since I worked there for a few months and I actually had some leadership opportunities while I was there (minor: such as training new employees, but still).

2. How do we add in contact's phone number for the employee? My employer is from a university, so he has an extension, which I can't add. I tried "ext.111" or "x111" but I will get an error message saying it's "invalid".

I had the same issues - both not having a contact for one job and not being able to list an extension for another.

For the latter problem, I emailed OptomCAS and they just have to add a note to your application with the extension number (it's not built into the form), so you'll have to email a rep also.

For the lack of contact, I just didn't list that job because I've had other more relevant employment. I'm not sure what you can do in your case, but I can understand schools wanting to be able to verify employment. Maybe ask your headquarters if they can just verify that you worked there? You don't necessarily need someone who can recommend you.

Do they actually contact all the employees? I worked a number of years ago at a government job my first couple of years of college but everyone I worked with has retired!

I don't really think I can track them down. But it was a good job and I worked there for 2 years so I would like to add that to my application.
