  1. Pre-Optometry
Hopefully someone can answer my question:

I have LORs submitted via a letter service system at my University (LEO account). What is the protocol for having those letters transferred to my OptomCAS account. Because my letters are already written, none have the Part I/Rating Attributes section done... can I still have my LORs transferred without having that part done?

Thanks.

Your pre-med advisor can fill out part one of the letters. The easiest way is to designate your advisor as the reccomender. I tried mine as electronic but my advisor sent all the pre-opts an email saying that when she tried to upload the letter packet, it would only let her submit her composite letter and not any others...so...now were doing paper and sending the packet in via snail mail.

For those of you who are in the same situation, I e-mailed OptomCAS, they said that I can still end in my letters from the University letter service to OptomCAS, but they highly recommend that I have those same recommenders do part one.

Hurricaneuro: How would that work? Even though my recommenders were 1) my professor 2) an optometrist 3) employer, how can I designate my advisor as the recommender? Would my advisor fill out part one of all three of my recommendations? Will schools allow a different person to do part 1?

Thanks

I added her as the reccomender on OptomCAS and I am just assuming her part one along with the letter packet will count.

She had trouble uploading multiple letters to OptomCAS though...and I am waiting for the paper ones to get processed...and it's been two weeks...:scared:
