Hey,

How long does it take for Optomcas to send out my application (excluding OAT score) to the schools? I still haven't applied and plan on doing so this week. Am I late now or do I have time left? The school that I will be applying is Illinois and their deadline for optomcas application and oat scores is 3/1/2012.

it varies from applicant. it took OPTOMCAS about 3 weeks to verify my transcript, then they sent it you the next couple of days. so, from the date I submitted to my first interview invite took about 1 month total. It all depends on the school and how fast they take to look at your application. I applied in late Oct. You might be at a disadvantage because it's really late in the cycle because most slots are filled up. you can still apply, but most schools are filling up/ looking at those who are wait listed or applied earlier. give the school a call to make sure.
