Hello..To get into an Optometry program, is a Bachelor's degree required, or is there just required coursework?

It depends on the individual school- some require it, but most do not. All the schools should have this info listed on their webpage.

For the schools not requiring it, most of the students accepted DO have a degree.

This is true at SUNY -- in my class, there are just a couple students who did the "joint degree" (3 years undergrad - to - OD school) option.
