Hello everyone! I am starting optometry school fall 2021. I was thinking of joining army reserve before that for 6 months. I am looking for the army reserve job training that fits just in between that time period. I might work in army as anything as the job in my field requires longer time period training and doesn’t have shipping date before. Any experience with the army reserve and optometry school? I appreciate anything? How tough is it to balance and all that? Is it worth it? Also I am permanent resident so cannot apply for HPSP program I am planning to apply for HPSP next year when I get my citizen. My recruiter said I could do that. How will it impact if I join army reserve now and HPSP program after my 1st year of optometry school. I would love to know any experience you guys have and suggest me.
