Optometry School Summers?

Hey guys! Does optometry school offer summer breaks? Just wondering what I should expect in terms of how often I get to visit my home state. I haven't received any acceptances yet, so input on any schools' schedules is appreciated!!

SCCO only has one summer after first year. I'm not sure if other schools are similar.

PCO has a summer session every year.

SCO has a summer break after 1st year with a summer mini-term that begins in July.

Typically there's a summer break after the first year only, otherwise just Christmas breaks and spring breaks. Not sure how COVID will affect things.

KYCO has a summer break between 1st and 2nd year but that's the only summer break
