Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you guys know of any type of ranking for the 17 optometry schools in the u.s. Which ones are the best? the worst? I'm just curious because I haven't seen any.

IMHO, the biggest things to consider are location and price. And maybe class size. If your primary interest is to be an excellent clinician, you will acquire the knowledge/skills at any of the 17 optometry schools. If you're interested in research, that will narrow the field a bit more.

there is no current national ranking (that I know of). i personally like the fact that we dont have one =D bc it helps maintain the community of optometry (no competition)

One thing you could probably do is look at who has the best Boards passing rate.
