Well before I find myself with a cold one in the hot sun on this fine Fourth of July, I ran across this when I clicked a link for "demanding surgery by surgeons"....
"The filing of the amendment in the Senate was an effort to get the VETS Act provisions adopted by attaching them to legislation scheduled for floor action. However, optometry spread misinformation about the intent of the amendment, which led to the procedural objections. The VETS Coalition remains committed to passage of the VETS Act."
Now I'm not interested in discussing optometrists doing surgery (nobody is right now), nor am I looking for a war of any kind... I am just curious as to what misinformation optometry spread. I mean if they did do any misinforming, that is terrible. I am just a little curious thats all
