Does it have to be optometry? There are people in all different kinds of fields who end up leaving for one reason or another and switching over to dentistry.

I want to be as specific as I can. It's a major life changing decision and not to mention the $$$ spent on optometry student loan . A year will also be lost since application starts the year prior to matriculation and continuing to 2nd professional yr of optometry won't be happening 😡.
