Do you know or heard of an optometry student dropping out with good academic standing after the 1st year and switched to dentistry? Thanks!

Does it have to be optometry? There are people in all different kinds of fields who end up leaving for one reason or another and switching over to dentistry.

I want to be as specific as I can. It's a major life changing decision and not to mention the $$$ spent on optometry student loan :scared:. A year will also be lost since application starts the year prior to matriculation and continuing to 2nd professional yr of optometry won't be happening 😡.
