optomology?

hello,
is anyone on this board applying into optomology program? are nontraditional students common? for some of the schools, the average age looks pretty young, 23-24.

lol. I think it's actually spelled "Ophthalmology".

Non-trads can apply to whatever they please as long as the have the board scores, grades, LOR's to back it up. Opthalmology is one of the most competitive residencies out there so getting into it is no easy accomplishment. Age is a number *not* a handicap.
