Man has the largest growth in a mouth that I've ever seen. How much of his mouth should he expect to have removed? I know that dermatologists have to remove quite of chuck of skin surrounding the malignant or benign mole along with the mole itself. Would the same hold true for something this large in the mouth as well?

Is there a link to the article without having to register to read it? Without having seen what you're referring to, its rare, but complete maxillary/mandibular resections can be done to remove a "problem". Same goes for the nose/tongue/any other part of the body.
