What do you guys think about oral exams? Does it really save on time and paper?

I have had one oral exam in my life and I failed it like there was no tomorrow....

I had a A going into the final and I got a C+ (one of my worst grades ever) after the oral exam.


It was in CALC 2

Who the hell does oral exams in calculus!!!!!
