Oral Medicine in USA/Canada

I was wondering if there are many purely oral medicine clinics in the states or canada? I really like this field and doing a search I found some clinics such as:

http://www.oralmedicinelondon.co.uk/ (a guy from UK)
http://sydneyoralmedicine.com.au/ (an Australian clinic)

I would love to run a clinic like this one day, but it seems in NA, most oral medicine docs are confined to working at schools. Why is that?
