oral prescription by physician assistant?

When a physician assistant calls in a oral script for non controlled meds, do you usually need to get the supervising physician info? I know that for written scripts the supervising physician should be imprinted or stamped I believe.

Since everyone here practices in the same state let us just read the state rules and statutes...

this really varies widely from state to state....especially when it comes to controls.
