Dear SDN,
I am currently looking for a job and will be applying to Med school for 09. I am looking for a Medical Assistant job where I can be trained on-the-job. I came across a job for an Oral Surgery Assistant where they are willing to train me, even with no prior experience. I dont have a huge interest in Dental Health or Dentistry, but I think it might be good experience. Is this something that sounds like it would be good clinical experience? Would I learn lots about the medical profession? Will I be asked why I didnt apply to dental school at my interviews? Let me know your opinion. Thanks.
