oral surgery hours and salary

hi..i was wondering if anyone knows what the hours are like for oral surgery residents and once they are out practicing. In addition, if anyone knows the starting and average salaries of an oral surgeon, that would be great. Also, does having an MD degree make a difference in the salary of an oral surgeon?

A lot of oral and maxilofacial surgeons also do facial plastic surgery. For that the MD degree is essential for advertising purposes. No one would want to go to a dds for a face lift...
