Anybody have a suggestion on what order to take these in? I remember last time I took it, I remember 7 and 8 where the closest to the real thing but now there's 9 and 10. Opinions/thoughts?

my personal exeperience was that they increased in difficulty as they increased in what number they were. I think most people will agree that 8 and 10 were the hardest, with 10 being the most recent (hence the closest to the real thing). Best of luck!

Oddly enough, i felt that 3 and 4 were my hardest and 9 and 10 were the easiest :|

8 > 10 > 6 > 3 > 4 > 5

Somewhere around there, I think. Overall, I think they're of relatively similar difficulty though. I didn't notice significant differences in difficulty from one to the other, except for VR at times.

My 6/13/08 test was SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult than any of the ones I took (above).

Go figure. I thought 10 was the easiest, especially the PS section. It was very straight forward and gave me a great boost of confidence going into the real thing, but as a June 13ther, the real deal was nowhere near any of the AAMCs. It was considerably harder.

Which was considerably harder? I'm assuming real deal but just want to make sure...

I didn't think the real test was substantially more difficult than the AAMC practice tests. I bet it's more the nerves going into taking the real thing that makes it seem harder. Anyway to answer the direct question, for me, AAMC 7 or 8 was the toughest. That said, it could have been because that test targeted my weakness moreso than other tests.
