Hello,

I am a practicing dentist in the US but am from England originally and would like to move back at some point.

I am wondering if anyone can tell me how hard the ORE exam actually is. I have passed all the American boards years ago and recently passed the very difficult Fellowship exam with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).

I see that the OREs have very low pass rates (around 50% for part one and even less for part 2). Not to sound arrogant but shouldn't my American training (studied at Columbia, so one of the best in the US) make the exam pretty simple??

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hey, I know this is 2 years old but I am wondering on the level of difficulty between the NBDE and the ORE. Did you manage to eventually do the ORE? How did it compare?
