sort of a random question, but does H2O2 (peroxide) always make a reaction go anti-markovnikov?

Not always. For example, in alkene reactions, only HBr will add anti-mark with peroxide. HCl and HI would add normally.

HBr will add anti-Markovnikov with the addition of peroxide ! The reaction is nice and exothermic...... The other halides will not add on in an anti-Markovnikov fashion. Remember.....ONLY HBr/Peroxide does anti-Markovnikov addition !!!!
