Hi everyone,
Would any of you know any canadian friendly dental schools in the U.S that would replace organic chemistry 2 with a biochem. I know most medical schools have done that and i was wondering if it is the same with dental schools. I'm also applying to a 1 year masters program as well and wanted to know if they could replace my biochem. Im trying my best to avoid orgo 2 because i took orgo 1, 3 4 years ago and i don't remember anything. Thanks

I highly doubt it I've never heard of any school doing that and orgo II is a pre req for all dental schools. Orgo II and biochem aren't even close to the same material. You're going to have to review orgo I material and take orgo II unfortunately. Plus you have to know orgo for the DAT so there's no loop holes around organic chemistry you just have to do it.

You won't do well on the DAT unless you relearn organic 1 and learn organic 2 so there's no way around it. And pretty much every school requires it save for Tufts & Touro

I think you're really limiting yourself by doing that. Just brush up on your reactions and take orgo 2.
