Hey! So I'm currently studying for the DAT and I've run into major issues on the orgo section. I took orgo 1 and 2 and passed both by the skin of my teeth. I have 0 foundational knowledge. The other 5 subjects are coming along but i feel like there is no hope for me with the orgo section. My test isn't for another 2+ months but
I'm wondering what kind of score I can get if I just guessed C for every answer.. I think my scores on the other sections will offset orgo? idk what to do

Use Chad's videos. I was similar to you, I barely passed Orgo 1 and only started to really "understand" it by the final of Orgo 2 (which I killed and it pulled my grade up to just a B haha).

Chad's videos helped me really understand the types of questions they were asking, be it SN1, SN2, E1, E2 (I think those are the right pathways.... it's been a while!). I watched all of his lessons and really worked hard to memorize what a pathway would look like even if "looks different" on the test. Learning resonance and how to move things over and where to attack and where to substitute from is key.

I'm not sponsored or paid by Chad, obviously. But he really did help.

Thanks so much for your positive advice! I will surely start watching his videos and changing my perspective!
