Just took it and got a C....sigh..

Was just wondering how heavy your ochem grade is weighed if at all. Thanks!

I got a C in Organic Chem 1, and a BC in Organic Chem 2.

Frankly, I don't care about it. It is my lowest grade, but I'm just happy I passed! 😛...

I got into two programs, interviews for all of them, and waitlisted for a few. I only had about a 3.55 gpa as well. I doubt they care about it THAT much, but be prepared to talk about it in your interviews thats for sure!

which programs did you apply for if you don't mind me asking

Friends that I know who've completed the application process have said that for most programs O chem is not even required. Some people take it to offset poor grades in Chem 1 or Chem 2, but often the latter will suffice for the chemistry requirement. I would not worry about the C in o chem so much.

Yup. O-Chem is not a prerequisite for most, if not all programs.
