I got ACDEFG as my answers, ends up A and E are wrong... can someone please explain.

The question is a little misleading - I think what he really means is which would exist as a pair of diastereomers. In that case, A and E would be wrong.

A and E can exist as a pair of enantiomers. Last time I checked, enantiomers are stereoisomers.

Am I looking at the wrong link? I thought the stereoisomers have to have at least the chemical formula's the same. Each have different chemical formula's?

you are supposed to see if each compound could make a sterioisomer
