hey guys, do you know about how many questions in the Chemistry section involve the reactions (addition, substitution, etc)? If i haven't learned that yet, would it be better that I just not spend a lot of time studying that and miss those if theres only one or two questions on that topic or is that what most of the Organic Chemistry section is about?

There honestly isnt enough for you to sit down and learn them all... If I were you, I wouldnt waste my time doing that. If anything, I would learn nomenclature and physical and chemical properties of the functional groups.

I want to say that most organic questions that were on the pcat were pretty easy....I remember nomenclature being really emphasized. As for actual reactions, that were not difficult, except maybe one question. I would focus on Orgo1 reactions if anything (SN 1, sn2, e1, e2) just your simple stuff....i didn't really study and got a 95 on chemistry......

I do agree with the poster above you. Some questions were on nomenclature and couple questions on sn1,sn2,e1 & e2. You might just brush up on those if you haven't. I got a 99 on the chem portion without much studying. My advice will be, revise those simple reactions aforementioned and reactions involving functional groups. And if you have not,pls go back to your Chem 1 & 2 note and revise.

My little input.....
