Hey guys, I am graduating in May and I will probably be graduating with a cGPA of 3.31 ( plus an A from another school not included). With this said, I got a C in o chem I and Micro. Depending on how I do on the DAT, would it be worth going to another university (Temple, because it is within reasonable distance from my house) to re-take these classes? Thanks!

Can you raise your gpa if you retake these two courses? If the answer is no, then don;t bother... Instead use that time to study for the DATs or other upper-level biology courses...

P.S. I'm no expert on this.. I'm applying this cycle.

There are so many scenarios that will be brought to your attention with this question. But in my opinion if you do very well on the DAT 21+AA and 21TS (especially in ochem and bio) there will be no need for you to retake those classes. Some schools may doubt you, others won't. Use Chads videos combined with DAT Destroyer for ochem you will get a 20 at least using those two sources, and for bio read as much as you can on it. (Campbells is the book they get the sources for questions from) Good Luck!!

Yea, I have seen a couple of files floating around for biology that I have saved to my Mac. Thanks for the input.

Not worth retaking. Your gonna spend thousands of dollars (at a private university) retaking 2 classes where most of the material was already taught to you, and your new goal is to 4.0 them.

If you have such itch, take new upper level biology courses and 4.0 them.... This will look much better than the retake.

If I have to (hopefully I don't), I will probably take histology and immunology one semester (they are not offered at my university), and maybe cell bio with something else the next.
