Orgo: changing NO2 into NH2

from my organic class, I learned that
H2 with catalyst
or
1) Fe,HCl 2) OH-
can change NO2 into NH2

in DAT destroyer, none of those two are mentioned, but
it says 1) Sn, HCl, 2)OH- can do it.

should I memorize all three different situation?

yes. active metal such Fe, Zn or Sn with Catalyst= Ni,Pd or Pt can reduce Nitro compounds to amine.

I learned that NO2->NH2 can be accomplished by:
1. H2, Pd/c
or
1. Sn, HCl
