What orgo equations do we need to know? (streckner, gabriel...)
Can I assume that I do not need to know the reagents/solvents to the reactions. Just the general input, output?

Ain't no body got time to memorize phthalimide is used in gabriel. lmao

Probably don't need to get too crazy with committing every reaction to memory. In truth if the specifics of a particular reaction is deemed important it will probably show up as context in a passage description or something. For example, a question might ask you why the structure of phthalimide is useful in gabriel synthesis, and it will most likely show up in a diagram.

Know common oxidizing agents (PCC, KMnO4 - usually these have a lot of O's) and reducing agents (NaBH4, LiAlH4 - usually these have a lot of H's).

You don't need to know the specific reagents/solvents to the reactions. MCAT Orgo is not very in-depth, and it is a very small portion of the exam. So don't stress out about it! :)
