I remember reading somewhere the Destroyer is overkill. I've been studying Orgo for almost a week, where I take notes from a textbook and study everyday and then do 30 Destroyer practice questions in the night. I've gone from getting from 10/30 correct to 12, 14, 16, and now 23/30 right. That's STILL roughly about an 18!!! ARGH.

While I steadily see progress, they're always seems to be some RANDOM questions in there about pipet vs. buret, or some detailed q's on acetal links between sugars or napthelene or something. So what makes the Destroyer overkill? Is it the spectrum of things thrown at you? Or is it just how tricky the questions can be?

Also, is it safe to assume I will do better on actual DAT type questions when I start practice exams next month?
